Its bite attack gives the perfect oportunity to combine Flash Move + Guard to deal as much damage as possible, especially with an Eagle Fencer equipped to double the duration of Move. Do note that you have to hit its head if you want to deal any meaningful damage. Avalodragil's attack pattern is very simple above 50% HP, it focuses on biting and slaming the ground, although it will try to catch you with fireballs after sending you flying away with a roar. More moves get added below 50%, namely a tackle and charge attack, so it's harder to keep the Primordial in place. Adol, being the main character, has very balanced attributes and a wide range of Skills to tackle any situation. He can even set up a damage overflow glitch thanks to Tornado Sword!
