Suhas Shetty's murder is the latest in a long list of retaliatory killings in Karnataka's Mangaluru

Suhas Shetty, a rowdy-sheeter with close ties to Bajrang Dal, was brutally hacked to death in Karnataka’s Mangaluru last Thursday. This is the second such killing within a week, and has sparked fears of the incidents taking a communal turn. Suhas was accused of killing Fazil in July 2022, and was fatally attacked in retaliation.
