Obsidian Forms – Rooftop I Live nylon-string guitar in dialogue with minimal electronic pulses, performed at sunset on the Secret Rooftop, Budapest. A performance shaped like a ritual: repeating patterns, slow transformations, and music as a space to step into. Partly inspired by a moment in a West African field recording: A small group sang a traditional song — not over drums, but over the distant sound of soldiers marching nearby. They didn’t follow the steps. They sang in polyrhythm — against the march. Their melody danced around the mechanical rhythm. That tension stayed with me. Obsidian Forms follows that spirit — fragments of themes drifting over relentless pulses. The nylon-string guitar becomes a human voice in a gridlocked world. This is not fusion. It’s fray.
