In this video, we provide an overview about depression (what it is, signs & symptoms, and risk factors) and discuss three common classes of antidepressant medications: TCAs (tricyclic antidepressants), SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), and SNRIs (selective serotonin-noradrenalin reuptake inhibitors), including how they work, their side effects, who should avoid them, and their efficacy.
