Carbon Handlebars | OneUp 35 | Are They Better? First, Thanks to Brent Fite for helping me get some footage!!! I set out to test a new set of Carbon Handlebars with 35mm stem clamp size to see if there was a real detectable difference. In the past, clamp size has been smaller thus making it easier to have a more "compliant" feel from aluminum. Many complaints have been raised across the internet arguing that the 35mm clamp size is just too stiff. I've had the stock aluminum Bontrager bars on my bike for three years and honestly, I never really felt the need to complain BUT...If a 35mm clamp size Carbon bar feels NOTICEABLY better then I wanted to know! COMMENT and let me know if you think carbon bars are the way to go. Whats your experience? Do you think they are safe enough?
