REHAB 2025! - 56 Year Old Goes Solo Car Camping and Hiking in Mid Wales! Part Two

The second and final part of my January 2025 rehabilitation trip to the Fforest Fields campsite in mid Wales. This time, I hit the hills for a couple of days and soak up the wonderful scenery on offer in the area. I did over ten hours hiking over two days and could feel the rejuvenation of mind and body occurring with each and every footstep! In case anyone was wondering, although I probably could, I claim nothing at all from the benefit system - I worked very hard from the age of 15, saved, invested wisely, paid into a private pension from 1992 and have, on occasion, paid up to 40% income tax. Now, by living a simple and frugal lifestyle, I'm able to live a somewhat semi-retired life on a limited income although I still pay a lot of tax (stamp duty, tax on savings interest, council tax, VAT, VED etc.)
