Perfect for fall, this loom knit pumpkin works up quick and is easy enough for beginners. Hope you enjoy! For the base I used Bernat Softee Chunky in Pumpkin For the stem I used Charisma in Forest 1. E wrap loom all the way around 2 times 2.E knit (pull bottom loop over the peg) all the way around beginning with the last peg to secure the yarn 3. E Wrap 1 time all the way around then E knit. 4. Repeat step 3 until it measures 24 peg loom - 6 inches 31 peg loom - 8 inches 36 peg loom - 10 inches 41 peg loom - 12 inches 5. Wrap yarn around outside of loom 3 times if segmenting pumpkin. If not segmenting wrap yarn around 1 time and cut. 6. Thread tail with tapestry needle, starting with the last peg, stick the needle under the yarn and slide yarn off the peg so loops are now on the needle. Thread loops all the way down the tail. Continue doing this till all loops on the pegs are now on the tapestry needle and yarn. Stuff pumpkin. Note: When stuffing pumpkin, you can add a mesh bag full of spices to make it smell nice! Thread beginning tail and sew up this end. Stick the needle through the top and back into the bottom so it compresses just the middle of the pumpkin. 7. Add stem before segmenting. To segment, take the yarn along the outside of the pumpkin and stick it through the middle of the bottom going to the top and pull gently. You have created your first segment. Continue to segment the pumpkin. I aim for 4 segments. 8. Sew in ends
