(26 May 1999) English/Nat Israeli politicians went into their third straight day of meetings on Wednesday to agree terms for the new coalition government. David Libai, Prime Minister elect Ehud Barak's head of coalition talks for One Israel party, met with National Religious Party members on Wednesday morning Libai said that One Israel is interested in creating a government as fast as possible. Shlomo Ben Ami, ranked number three in the party, said that his party is interested in creating as wide a government as possible. As One Israel negotiated the future government, the Likud leader and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security cabinet meeting - possibly his last in office.
