"Violence and Crime Prevention initiative in South Africa" animation

This animation was collaboration between Fine-Line and Stefan Möhl. GIZ, a German development company, comissioned us to do o an animation about their “Violence and Crime Prevention initiative” they are involved with. The initiative is a joint South African-German collaboration that is implemented by the South African Government, civil society groups and GIZ. Their vision is a safe South Africa with vibrant communities where everybody has a positive outlook on life because they feel and are safe. Our job was to flesh out the approach of the program, and broadly answer the following questions: What causes violence in communities? How can it be prevented? Who is responsible for keeping communities safe? What policies need to be in place to ensure people’s safety?
