Link's Awakening Boss Theme Mashup

While “Link’s Awakening” may be my least favorite “Legend of Zelda” game for a variety of reason, I can’t deny that this game has a killer boss theme that’s so catchy that it often gets stuck in my head for hours- and sometimes even entire days- at a time. So upon learning that the switch remake of “Link’s Awakening” was released and hearing the new boss theme, I couldn’t help but create a mashup video of it and the one from the original version. Though believe it or not, when it comes to creating these mashups, it’s typically harder to make one for two different versions of the same song than it is for one based around two distinct melodies on the grounds that even though they sound very similar, the beats are usually slightly off by about a second or so. Now that may not sound like too big a deal, but trust me, sooner or later it becomes quite noticeable when one of the versions is drastically ahead of the other. Luckily for me, unlike my “A Strange Reunion” video in which I created a mashup of Clockwerk’s boss themes from the original “Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus” and “The Sly Collection”, the boss theme from “Link’s Awakening” has a definitive start and end point that remains constant throughout the entire song. Anyways, both of the songs that were used in this video belong to Nintendo. I own nothing.
