What's better for crabbing? Trotline or Traps? This day we did both!! My plan was to bring my daughter Grace out and run the traps. My brother Max has never dipped crabs off a trotline so we did both! If the crabs are running hard the trotline is the way to go. When it's slow I prefer traps. They're less work to rig and easier to move to search for crabs. The trotline can become Mass Chaos if it's slow or busy.
