Their main demand was simple – do not destroy our future by stopping development and jobs in Andhra Pradesh. Vizag people said that during the five years of Jagan’s rule, the state suffered due to corruption, injustice, and bad governance. Because of this, development stopped and unemployment increased heavily. Many young people lost hope for jobs and a better life. After the people gave a clear mandate, the alliance government under Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu restored law and order and started rebuilding the state. With the strong efforts of IT Minister Nara Lokesh, many IT companies and industries are now ready to invest in Andhra Pradesh, which can create thousands of jobs. However, YSRCP and Jagan are filing court cases to stop these companies from coming. Protesters strongly said this is equal to snatching food from the mouths of unemployed youth and students. They warned that YSRCP will face strong public anger for blocking development.
