Running O Gauge Trains on Standard Gauge Track

I've been trying to figure out a way to run O gauge trains on my standard gauge layout. I didn't want to rip up any existing track, and I don't have room to add any more. Here's the solution - placing the O gauge track on top of the standard gauge using strips of non-slip vinyl between the tracks. This material is available from fabric shops. It is used underneath table cloths to stop them from moving. For my purposes, it worked like a charm. The FastTrack is securely anchored in place. The train I am running here consists of a custom painted Lionel GP9, several TTOS Canadian Division PGE cars, and two TTOS Canadian Division Convention tank cars from 2001 in BC Electric livery.
