So... We are finally at the knitting portion of the manual. We are right into Intarsia and then Plating. Intarsia is the art of laying the yarn over the needles to create blocks of color. This is how the first knitting machines worked. So this is a step back in technology that can activate a lot of creativity depending on your inspiration and number of yarn colors you have access to. You have 100 stitches to use. Plating - uugghhh - I would not use Medium yarn for this. I would stay with Lighter weights. The carriage is so hard to push/pull. I do not have any practical application for this thick of a knit project. At some point I hope the manual shows you how to cast on or cast off, I would think that is VERY important to learn first. But, we are flipping the pages and demonstrating what the manual states. I am sorry in advance for all the "missing" and very important information that the manual lacks.
