Donyale Renee (a Houston, TX native) who has lived in Atlanta, GA since 1995 where she performed for countless corporate events including several fundraisers and private events for former Atlanta Mayor Bill Campbell while being signed to Platinum Atlanta Records (1995-1997). Donyale was a co writer of the campaign song for the former Mayor of Atlanta Shirley Franklin (2002) which was used throughout her campaign. Donyale has sung background vocals for Pop Diva Mariah Carey, R&B singers Monifah and Michael Henderson, as well as Reggae artists Maxi Priest. Donyale has also been the opening act for several major R&B artists including Smokie Robinson, The Manhattans, Betty Wright, Twelve Gauge, Frankie Beverly and Maze, Adina Howard, and Calvin Richardson. While living in Japan 1996-2007 (Tokyo, Shizuoka, and Osaka) Donyale also sung background vocals for Japan's most popular actor and recording artist Yuji Oda and Def Jam's number #1 hip hop and R&B artist of Japan "AI" along with England’s Recording R& B Artists Jackie Graham and Elisha La’Verne. Donyale is the voice of Japan's TV commercials such as Draft One Beer "The Tide is High" and Crystal Geyser Water "Oh Baby I Love Your Way", an the voice of Sony’s hit video dance game “Bust A Groove” as the voice of Pinky on the song “I Know”, which is loved around the world! She also co-wrote one of Japan's popular TV show songs titled "Wave Up" (2006). "We've Changed" is written by Donyale and Keith Rawls, originally released in 1997 on her EP Hey Lover. The song can also be found on a CD entitled D'Voice - Today's R&B, released when Donyale was living in Japan.
