New Bike Lanes on EDSA

What do you think of the new bike lanes on EDSA? The MMDA tried using painted lane markings, signs and enforcement to keep motorcycles and cars out of the bike lanes. But they quickly realized the same thing as LGUs, unless you place an enforcer every 20 meters, nothing works to keep drivers out of the bike lanes except physical barriers. So you will notice concrete dividers or barriers have been installed along some parts of the bike lane. The bike lanes are NOT finished yet. They're still installing more dividers, painting them yellow, installing reflectors, additional signages etc. I've heard some motorcycle riders suggest the bike lane should be shared with MC and bicycles. But after watching many motorcycle riders force cyclists out of their way and even one rider hit a cyclist, I simply can't agree with the suggestion to make it a shared space.
