With any new platform comes opportunity to develop and that's exactly where the Core Ultra 9 currently finds it's self. Those seeking mountains more power than the i9 14900K may be disappointed, but make no mistake the 285K has some serious power to be had whilst also consuming less energy and that's a winner. The ROG Maximus Z890 Apex provides a solid platform to fully utilise every bit of the new CPU's from intel whilst retaining those stylish and sharp design angles. Combined with the RTX 4090 OC, there's really not much which can defeat this one and that's fine with me!
