Dr. Helia Mohammadi is Chief Research Technology Officer at City of Hope National Medical Center, where she oversees national research technology strategy and AI‑driven innovation to accelerate clinical trials, translational science, and patient‑centric care in cancer and related diseases. A recognized inventor and thought leader at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and research, she previously served as Chief AI & Precision Health Officer, Chief Data Scientist, and Healthcare Industry Lead at Microsoft Canada, leading applied AI programs in predictive analytics, genomics, and precision medicine while acting as National AI Ambassador for Microsoft’s Canada AI Country Plan. ​ With a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, and earlier degrees in computer science, computer engineering, and business, her work has generated peer‑reviewed publications, patents, and global advisory roles.
