I don't think anything will have such an impact on my life as this show did. It was an amazing piece of storytelling and must be seen by everyone at least once. season 1 ended exceptionally well, some people hated the idea of having a 2nd season of 13 reasons why, while in my opinion the second season was really a good idea to see how eveyone has coped with the death of Hannah and to hear the untold stories that we haven't heard from the tapes, season 2 reveals a huge part of the story that Hannah didn't really mention in the tapes, which really explains why she felt the way she did, ( and that's i guess why lots of people thought that she was so dramatic and everything that Hannah went through was normal and it was nonsense for her to be depressed about meaningless things and she could easily move on with her life just like everything else, its about not being so shallow and how to look at people with a deeper level ). season 2 tells a lot about Hannah and why she felt what she did. i watched season 1 twice, watching the last episode made me feel kind of depressed but it also made feel better for that i could relate to many things in the story.
