"Women Joking Seriously" (also known as "Fantasy in G Major") is a Ukrainian Soviet feature film directed by Konstantin Ershov, filmed in 1981 at the Kyiv Film Studio named after A. Dovzhenko. The premiere took place in August 1981. The film consists of three short stories linked by a monologue by the protagonist, who tells the story of his love. Once in childhood, he fell in love with a girl named Zhenya, but the latter turned out to be indifferent to boyish feelings. Since then, Boris has been looking for her image in other women. The film also has a football component, and there is documentary footage with Valeriy Lobanovsky.
