Personal Life of Vinod Rathod Talking about his personal life, Vinod Rathod was married to a woman named Poonam, and the couple had two children. However, tragedy struck in the year 2000 when Poonam took her own life at their flat in Kandivali, Mumbai. Reports suggested that she had been struggling with thyroid disease for a long time. She even left a suicide note, stating that no one should be held responsible for her decision. This heartbreaking incident left Vinod Rathod in deep shock for a long time. A second tragedy followed in 2021 when his brother Shravan succumbed to COVID-19, further adding to his grief. An Everlasting Bond with Music Although his songs are less frequently heard in films nowadays, and the younger generation may not be as familiar with him, Vinod Rathod continues to be deeply involved in music. He regularly performs live concerts across India and abroad, which also allows him to fulfill his passion for traveling. He prefers to stay away from Bollywood's Page-3 parties, as he is not fond of the glamorous culture. Perhaps this is why the film industry has distanced itself from him.
