Peacock bass are one of the most beautiful fish in freshwater and they are notorious for putting up a great fight, especially on fly! On a recent trip with my family to Montana I was introduced to fly fishing on the Bitter Root and Missouri River and discovered yet another outdoor passion! I left Montana with a fly rod and had the first opportunity to play with it targeting Peacock Bass while canal hopping in Miami, FL.
