28-Day Painting Challenge | Driftwood | The Tree Swipe Technique

This is Day 4 of the February Follies Challenge! Do you like a challenge? If so, February Follies is for you! I will have a new fluid art painting every day. You get to see from the moment I find out what I'll be painting. Immersion is my first. I have done FIVE 100 Day Challenges, and as much as I had a great time making the pieces, it's just a lot to commit to. I wanted to do something, but I didn't want to do shorts, and I didn't want to commit to 100 days of being at home...that's never really worked out too well...so, here we are ... a 28 day challenge! I will not be including dry results. I'll try to think of a way to do one video at the end of all of the dry results. ALL OF THESE PAINTINGS WILL BE FOR SALE. If there's one you want for yourself, or to gift to someone, simply tell me in the comments, and we will open a conversation. Each painting will be $50, with the buyer responsible for shipping. I will varnish each painting before sending. Keep in mind, you are seeing these wet, so the paint must cure, and so must the varnish. These things take time, so you will not be getting your painting automatically. We can talk about it. Anyway! Enough business....ON WITH THE CHALLENGE! Today, I pulled Tree Swipe and immediately had an existential freak-out because it's been so long since I did one! Then my mind switched gears and started dissecting what I wanted to do. It occurred to me that I didn't want to go the "usual" route and the rest, as they say, is history. There was quite a bit of pivoting going on during the creation of this piece, and I LOVE it. The process was absolutely challenging, but so much fun! (except for my camera doing entirely weird things, which seem to have not effected the recording...thank goodness!) Thanks for comin' to see the newest chaos. All of my colors are mentioned in the video. There are no oils in any of my paints.
