This week’s update is a long one. Last week the Plumber and Electrician started work on adding new infrastructure to the house. I go through some of the challenges they are facing as well as the numerous details that need to be thought of as they do their work. In this video I explain why we have holes in our walls, why we have multiple electrical panels and much more! I’m also joined by my four legged foreman, Maple the labradoodle! On January 7th and January 12 of 2022, our farmhouse was damaged by flooding on the Humptulips river. After 2 years of planning, permits, layoffs, etc, we're finally starting our mitigation plan to make our farmhouse safe from flooding. Work began in June of 2024 and this video is part of a set of videos covering the journey. .
