Troubleshooting Freezer Defrost Issues. Try This First!

Troubleshooting a walk-in freezer that was frozen up earlier in the week but needed more work can be time consuming off you don't know the history of the problems, unfortunately it went down over the weekend while I was on call. I had the displeasure of defrosting the system and the opportunity of returning a week later to do it again. I was able to locate what was causing the ice. I explain how the hot gas defrost system works, how to pump down a refrigeration system on the rack and how to clean the txv screens.
