Do Portable Air Conditioners REALLY Work? In this video I review the Hisense 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. I was very impressed by how well it works. I was burning up in this recent heat wave. This unit is the HiSense single hose Portable air conditioner . My living room is about 450 sq feet and this portable air conditioner is designed to cool 350 sq ft. This is also the first time I've ever used a portable air conditioner vent hose system. I'm so glad to get rid of my window unit. I would definitely recommend this portable air conditioner and I'm very impressed with the Hisense brand.
