Cannabis and the Food System | Rogue Valley Food System Network

The Rogue Valley Food System Network (RVFSN) hosted a public forum on Jul 19, 2017 in Medford, OR on water resources (Shavon Haynes, District 13 Watermaster (9:10minutes in), soil fertility (Chris Jagger, Blue Fox Farm 15:30min in), labor issues (Dan Sweeney, Pacific Crest Vineyard Services 23:46min in), land use planning (Josh LeBombard, OR Dept. of Land Conservation and Development 33:20min in), and rules and regulations (Megan Lanier, Lanier Land Consulting 44:30min in and Michael Johnson, Siskiyou Sungrown 52:115min in) regarding cannabis. Earlier in the year, the RVFSN brought together stakeholders to understand what challenges and opportunities they experience, and what potential solutions could foster a co-existence of the cannabis industry and the food system.
