This tape was a DAV thrift store find that is pure 80's. In an era where blue and green screen techniques were becoming more commonly known and Muppet-style puppetry was in it's prime, a lot of children's content like this was being made. Using puppetry, green screens, and elaborate costuming, Mother Goose uses nursery rhymes and fairy tales to teach children life lessons and things like the alphabet. The back of the case reads: Come visit the village of Gooseberry Glen, an enchanted world filled with magical and enduring characters. And share again the world's most cherished tales. Through a remarkable "kid-tested" production technique -- advanced "puppetronics" -- producer Frank Brandt brings the Mother Goose characters to life. Brandt first used these techniques in two long-running series for The Disney Channel. Of the hundreds of Mother Goose Rhymes, we've selected the most popular, most beloved and most memorable. With full orchestration, lavish costuming and exquisitely detailed backgrounds, these original videos will become a treasured and permanent part of your video collection. In volume 3, Mother Goose and her gander, Bertram, look for Bo Peep's sheep...go round the Mulberry Bush...play "One, two, buckle my shoe"...and uncover seven other delightful rhymes. Running time: 30 minutes.
