Underwater World textile collage || Seahorse and Starfish

When is a fish not a fish? This week, I'm adding some finishing touches to my seahorse, trying a circular bullion stitch to create another texture in my background, and making a start on my first starfish, using the free template and more of those gorgeous scraps from Bazaar bundles, and sharing some fun facts along the way. I'm also introducing another addition to the Underwater World template collection - the Nautilus! I'm really enjoying trying out different ways to add colour, texture, and form to to this project, which was inspired by the fabulous work of Viviana Molinares. I love the way she uses fabrics, beads and thread with the eye of an artist to create her fabulous textile collages. Viviana doesn't have a channel or anything at the moment but she does share her work in our FB group and Discord community (free to join, see links below).
