Don Zhailau is a plateau located on the territory of the Ile-Alatau State National Park, between the rivers Assi and Turgen at an altitude of 2500-2600 m. from where, in the northeast, you can see the top of the dome, as it is also popularly called - chupa–chups, the Assa observatory, and the valley of the Asa River. Climbing a little higher and looking to the south, you can see the river and its tributaries, which are surrounded by forests and various grasses in open areas. Then there is a long and rather steep descent to the river crossing, which goes north and is a tributary of the Turgen River. For the first time, Don Zhailau discovered the plateau, which is located on the territory of the Ile-Alatau State National Park, between the Asa and Turgen rivers at an altitude of 2500-2600 m. I had heard about him before, but I thought that he was the same in beauty as Kok Zhailau... How wrong I was! This road should be included in the TOP 5 beautiful places in Kazakhstan! It is a must-visit... And the expanses that open up are even more beautiful than the view from the Assi plateau! Admiring such beauty, together with Dmitry @p.optimist, we made our way to the Kairak waterfall, but the swamp that awaited us had other plans ahead - we were stuck. No matter how desperate the situation was, everything turned out to be at its best! The main purpose of the trip is to see the Perseid starfall against the background of the Milky Way - 1000% completed The cosmos with millions of stars like grains of sand on the beach is spread out in front of us in all its glory!
