Royal Albatross ~ Ranger Gives Plateau Chick A REFRESHING MISTING ☔ BOK Returns For A Feeding 3.6.26

It is a warm day and the rangers will either bottle spray the chicks with water or will set up the sprinklers to cool them off. Here the ranger will mist the Royalcam chick. The rangers are busy keeping the birds cool and ensuring the chicks are gaining weight & are healthy. This misting does not dampen the nest but still cools the chick off. BOK returns and she feeds her chick and then stays with him awhile before she departs back out to sea. Beautiful moments with Mom and her chick! Thank you for watching!
