Background on the Oral History Project For our 75th anniversary, we sat down with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute leaders, past and present, to gather reflections on their careers, the evolution of the Institute and its culture, and expectations for the future. We asked our interviewees questions like: What was the general atmosphere at Dana-Farber, and in cancer care, when you first arrived compared to now? What have been some of the most significant developments and areas of change or growth at Dana-Farber during your tenure here, from your perspective? How has your role changed/evolved over time? Where do you see your role going in the future? Who are some of the mentors or leaders who have influenced you the most along your career journey? What are one or two accomplishments of which you are most proud? What are some of your most meaningful personal or professional memories about Dana-Farber?
