In 2016 I did a talk at NDC London showing a few of the things I loved learning about Elixir. I've been an OO programmer for years using C#, Ruby, JavaScript, etc but in 2016 I branched out and dove into Elixir... and it broke my brain. In this video, I show the wild and funky world of OTP the Erlang framework that is also usable with Elixir (Elixir runs on the Erlang VM). I had fun doing it but fair warning: it's annoying! To make matters worse: Joe Armstrong and Robert Virding (the creators of Erlang) were in the audience... no pressure... Keep in mind the video was created in 2016 so there might be a few out of date things.
