Salutations Ape-Friends! In this tutorial I go through how to build an audio delay effect with variable speed and pitch in TouchDesigner. Building a reliable variable pitch type delay effect component has been one of my biggest TouchDesigner sound-design objectives for awhile now and I'm glad to report I've finally figured it out. While achieving an audio delay effect might seem pretty straightforward at first given the native delay CHOP operator but from experience, it's been quite a bit messier than that. I have tried many variations over the months and the method I am presenting to you today is by far the best of all my efforts and opens the gates to a wide variety of sound-design exploration from here on out.
