Moses Mwalabu's story is a sad one. He has a faint memory of his mother who died in 2003 was since she died when he was just 10-years-old, his father died when he was an infant and he has no memory of him. Rejected by his distant family, he walked from Dedza to Lilongwe to search for greener pastures, found a job as a houseboy. Unfortunately, they were not paying him, so he moved to the streets where, while attending school, he used all survival tactics, including doing piece works. He managed to get university education and graduated from LUANAR. His dream is to open a home and a vocational training centre for street children.
