Renault Kangoo ZE 22kWh PTC heater failures

The cabin heater on the Renault Kangoo ZE 22kWh models is prone to failure. The PTC/resistive heater runs off the 400V circuit and looks quite a simple device. Yet it costs a whopping £853+VAT for the part alone, without labour to diagnose and replace it. It looks like it is made by Eberspacher and is part no. 27143-7360RET. Also Renault part no. 271433935R. Anyone know if these are repairable? This unit is a broken one and I'm not necessarily looking for this one to be repaired, but am interested if it is possible or happy to let someone diagnose this who can maybe offer future repairs to other Kangoo ZE drivers. *UPDATE* - I've now discovered Eberspacher have a UK office and I have approached them about repairs/refurbishments.
