This is my ophthalmology portfolio that I submitted for my ophthalmology St1 interview. I scored 73/100 points for my portfolio and scored 3/3 for the overall portfolio layout and quality section. I thought I’d show you my ophthalmology portfolio, because I found that looking at other portfolios while assembling mine gave me a better idea about how I should be organising and presenting it for the ophthalmology interview. The sections are: List of previous posts Qualifications with certificates or letter of proof Prizes/Awards with proof Ophthalmology specialty links and commitment to date as a career Multi-source feedback Publications Quality improvement/Audit projects Presentations Education and teaching The main thing is to gather your evidence as you achieve something, and make sure you get a signed letter or certificate to prove it (otherwise you may else well not have done it)!
