This includes time-restricted eating (also known as intermittent fasting), which allows more time for you to use up the sugar stored in your liver. The timing of exercise is also important, especially after eating sugar or starch. Building muscles is helpful because it gives you a "warehouse" to store extra sugar and starch (as glycogen, chains of glucose). Fatty meat is a great food option because the fat helps boost ketones, while you're still getting solid protein intake for muscle maintenance. MCT oil and coconut oil can boost ketones somewhat directly. Eating real, whole food (and avoiding junk food) makes it pretty hard to overdo the carbs. And if you want a cheat code for getting into ketosis fast, you can use an exogenous ketone supplement (such as the one I linked to above), although ketone supplements may not give you all the same health benefits as natural ketosis.
