What do you think is Scotland's most underrated city? Well, I received a message from someone urging me to head north to a place with an unbelievably cool history—one that grew famous for the "Three J's": Jute, Jam, and Journalism. If that hasn’t already given it away, the city in question is Dundee, and it was class to bump into my mate and fellow YouTuber / @wendallexplores Nestled on the east coast of Scotland, where the River Tay meets the sea, Dundee is remarkable for countless reasons. At first glance, you can't help but be captivated by the vast river that dominates the scenery. The city's architecture, too, stands as a testament to its once-thriving wealth, showcasing grandeur and character at every turn. Armed with curiosity, I set out to uncover the legacy of the "Three J's"—to see if remnants of this industrial past still linger, or if the city has done a commendable job preserving them. Alongside this, I explored another historical industry: whaling, which once played a significant role in shaping Dundee's fame and fortune. As you know, I’m endlessly fascinated by places built on the backbone of industry. If your village, town, or city has a compelling past, let me know, and I’ll be there, ready to explore. I had an incredible time in Dundee. Before this, my ventures to Scotland had only taken me to Edinburgh and Glasgow, both amazing in their own ways. But now, I can confidently say that this trip was my favorite by far. Until next time, W.T. #city #Scotland #explore
