I became interested in Madame Claude because of my recent obsession with Dayle Haddon. Turns out there's a lot more to love about the film than just her performance, though. Cinematography by Oscar-nominated Robert Fraisse doesn't hurt at all. I play fast and loose with some of his footage here, but you must understand it's only for fun and the benefit of this weird flight of imagination. Sincerely, I wouldn't change anything about what Fraisse shot. Of course any time secret societies or crazy opulence are focal in a '70s film, I'm into that by default. It's the extra coating of nostalgia that make it work for me. In this music video edit, some short clips of another Dayle Haddon film, as well as a couple clips of Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me appear, too. Expanding on the story a bit to give some supernatural justification.
