Our bikes need some maintenance too, apparently. This video shows how to set the chain slack on a bike. There are various tensioning systems but the procedure is almost always the same. The crappy motorcycle we took care of is a Suzuki GS500. The Honda CBF 125 and the 2009 Ninja 250r have the same system, like many other bikes Adjusting the free play in the chain is important. If the chain is too tight the gearbox will suffer (and the bike will be tight on power), if the chain is loose it will eat the gears (pinion & crown) while the bike will feel sluggish.
