American Railroad: Volume 30 - Railfanning in Eastern Virginia.

This programme focuses on railroads in the east of the Commonwealth of Virginia, featuring the CSX RF&P Sub, which runs north from Richmond, through Doswell, where it crosses the Buckingham Branch, Fredericksburg, Leeland, Neabsco and Alexandria, o cross the Potomac River into Washington D.C.. We begin on the Norfolk Southern Washington District at Manassas and Clifton. At Richmond, we see the CSX North End Sub crossing over trains on the Rivanna Sub. After a brief visit to Petersburg, there are scenes in Williamsburg on the Peninsula Sub. Besides CSX and NS, trains by Amtrak and Virginia Railway Express feature. Two, or even three cameras were used to film many of the trains in this programme to provide additional views of the lineside action and spectacular scenic locations.
