We will go over Akainu vs Whitebeard in Marineford along with his interacitions with Luffy, Shanks, Aokiji, Blackbeard, and the other Yonko and Admirals. We talked about Kizaru, we talked about Aokiji, and today. We will be adding the final part to complete the admiral agenda. That being of course, Akainu… Sakazuki is someone who’s not only considered one of the biggest heavy hitters left for Luffy to fight, but out of the agendas we went over, he may have one of the best cases for being even top 1. I’ve seen through most if not all the arguments you could make for Akainu, and so as we go over his fights and notable moments throughout the series, we will also be discussing those arguments and seeing if Akainu is actually him. Before going into Akainus feats id like to talk about what he exactly represents as an Admiral. While Kizaru's justice was unclear or conflicted, and Aokiji's Justice was Laid Back, Akainu is the believer in absolute justice. Which is pretty much the ideology of eradicating evil no matter what, and removing anything that gets in the way of that. Even if that includes his own comrades, who Akainu showed ZERO hesitation in disposing if they weren't following up to code. He nearly kills Koby himself after he tries stopping the war, even when there was no point in going on. But to Akainu. This guy not only is terrifying but he's good at RAGEBAITING WE’RE COOKED. Seriously though, we see that despite his cruel methods, he gets things done with solid execution. Which is why he would inevitably become the Fleet Admiral of the marines by the time of the timeskip, and would even make the marines far more powerful. Sakazuki, formerly known by his Admiral alias Akainu, is the current Fleet Admiral of the Marines, succeeding the previous Fleet Admiral, Sengoku. During the first half of the series, he was one of the three Admirals, and was the last one out of the three to debut. Upon becoming the Fleet Admiral, one of Sakazuki's first decisions was to relocate Marine Headquarters into the New World in preparation for the New Pirate Age. He’s a man that should know Advanced Observation and Armament, and if I'm being honest due to his ideals and him being already ridiculously powerful, I wouldn't be surprised if he had advanced conquerors as well. Now the first time we see Akainu is during Marineford, where we see him aura farming awaiting for whitebeards arrival. As he would throw a powerful earthquake attack, Akainu would negate it with the help of Aokiji and Kizaru, who mind you are all holding back due to not wanting to destroy marineford. We’d see this being stated when Akainu engages in a one on one with Whitebeard, who mind you should be declining as the fight goes on. However, this Whitebeard is still pretty early on in Marineford, and this is the same guy who’s regarded as the strongest pirate at the time. For reference we’ve seen Garp and Sengoku, two characters who should be relative to Roger, end up having to team while suppressed to take down someone who at best is relative with him. I’m not gonna say Whitebeard = 50% of Akainu cuz that’s just not true, but it should mean Akainu holding back makes a pretty big difference. He would also go on to ragebait and overpower Ace, the same guy who could clash with Aokiji's ice and go blow for blow with Blackbeard. By this point Akainu hasn’t even gone all out and already has established himself to be someone easily above Yonko commanders, and someone who can even oppose the strongest Yonko of them all. After burning Ace’s guts almost instantly, he’d then be met by Marco and Jimbe, who pretty much were about to die had they continued fighting Akainu, Marco being the same guy who not only blocked Kizaru and saved Luffy, but even later on after not even fighting since after Marineford would go on to 2v1 against King and Queen. Mind you he’s also blocked hits from Kaido and Big Mom, and yet he could momentarily hold off Akainu at best. Akainu is A DOG, an absolute mad lad who managed to become Fleet Admiral after defeating Aokiji. And since this poiint in the story he's been simply awaiting for the moment to strike against Luffy, as Green Bull and Fujitora handle his light work. He beat the strongest man known as Whitebeard, was willing to fight Shanks, scared Blackbeard, and made fighters like Luffy Marco and Ace tremble in fear.
