This Allen 3-manual Theater/Classic organ is for sale. It is located in Franklin, North Carolina and it is at ground level. The organ is loaded with extras including the Allen Organ MDS MIDI Expander II (lots of pipe organ and orchestral sounds). Also the Allen Organ Smart Recorder/player which comes with many disks of famous theater organists. In addition, the Allen Organ rhythm and Traps effect (ARTE) is also included. This unit has several sound effects and a large selection of rhythms. An additional feature was the removal of the dim filament console lights and replaced with LED lamps including at the music rack. The included Console Controller unit allows the organist to select from four memory levels with each level containing 10 piston memories. The pistons have the ability to add a MIDI voice to each manual and/or pedal. Also, with the flip of a stop tab, the organ can be changed to a classical sound including chiffy flutes and other classic sounds. A great feature includes the Cinnamon Hill Art 16 pushbutton Digital Toy Counter (the unit includes 90 selectable sound files). Two of the pushbuttons are used for "CANCEL" sound, and "CHANGE" to the second level. So 14 of the first level can control 14 sound files, and when the user presses the "CHANGE" pushbutton, another 14 sound files are available making the Digital Toy Counter able to control a total of 28 sound files. Walt Strony played this organ and was totally impressed with the Digital Toy Counter sounds. He said it was "the best sounding toy counter he has heard". I should mention that Ron Carter, senior organist at the Strand Theater in Atlanta, recently played a concert here in Franklin of Theater Organ tunes. He returned a month later to play for a Silent Film event of which both were received with standing ovations. The organ also has the Cinnamon Hill Art 3-input stereo mixer for connecting added sound modules. Two of the stereo inputs are used for the MIDI Expander and the Programmable Toy Counter. One stereo input is presently available for a user-installed sound module. In addition, the Cinnamon Hill Art Headphone Amplifier allows the user (by inserting the 1/4" headphone plug into the jack) to switch off the speaker amplifiers and allows the user to hear the organ through the earphones for silent practice. The organ's sound system consists of four large Allen Organ speakers (three utility and one finished) and one sub-woofer cabinet. The 50 watt amplifier for the subwoofer is located in the organ console. Also included are several Allen Organ technical and user manuals.
