Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the LED Light Kit for Post-Style Boat Guide-Ons. Now this LED Light Kit mounts to the guide posts on your boat trailer so that it's more visible at night. It'll glow amber at the front and bright red at the rear so it alerts other drivers of your position and it makes your trailer easier to see while you're backing down a boat ramp or when you're backing it up or loading your boat.It's a one piece sealed unit and you get two of them. So one for each side of your trailer. They're shock proof and waterproof. They automatically activate with your trailer's tail lights or running lights. And they're LED. So, LED's are long lasting. They're energy efficient and they're more durable, especially when compared to incandescent lights.Pretty simple installation. It does come with detailed installation instructions that walk you through the whole process step-by-step, but basically thee mount onto the top of the guide posts with the included hardware. They wire into your trailer's tail lights with the included connectors. The wires would feed down through the guide-ons and it does come with all wiring, electrical connectors, hardware, and it also comes with some post locking bolts. So if you have a post that rotates, you want to ensure that these do not rotate. And so what you can do according to the instructions, install the hardware to lock them into position because you always want to make sure that red is facing the rear and the amber light is facing forward or the front.Again, two guide post lights are included. They are designed to fit onto 2-3/8" outer diameter post style PVC boat guides and we can tell that by taking a measurement of the opening here. It measures 2-3/8". So it should fit onto that size of PVC boat guides. Wire linked on each one is around 98 inches. So it's a couple inches over eight feet long.We're going to go and hook one up to power and turn off the overhead lights, turn on our power source so you can see what it looks like. So you can see here, this is the amber side. So 1, 2, 3, 4 amber lights.
