In this video I take you on the Pride In London march from Regents Park to Soho, joining almost a million spectators gathering between the West End and Westminster. Pride provides a platform for every part of London’s LGBT+ community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, questioning, intersex, non-binary, asexual, polysexual, genderqueer and gender variant people) to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow them to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing. The annual Parade through the heart of the West End gives people a chance to be visible and speak loudly to the rest of the city about what they have achieved, how far they have come and what is still needed. Supporters on the march who are featured in this video include Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley from Absolutely Fabulous, Su Pollard, Sandy from Gogglebox, Chris & Emma from Gaydio, and Shaun Dellenty.
