STER - SMT submucosal tumor of the cardia.

This is not an edited video. Case of endoscopic removal of a submucosal formation of the cardia by the method of tunnel submucosal dissection STER. A 51-year-old patient was diagnosed with a submucosal formation of the cardia during screening gastroscopy, with conditional dimensions up to 20 mm. Additional examination with MSCT with contrast and EUS was prescribed. On СТ scan - an intramural submucosal neoplasm of the cardia measuring 25*24*34 mm. On EUS - a formation measuring 25*20 mm, hypoechoic, with 4 echo layers (muscularis propria). After additional examination, the endoscopic removal method STER was proposed. The endoscope GIF 190HQ, CO2 insuflation, endoscopy knife Alton Ukraine 4mm quadrant type, hemoclip 17mm and 11 mm Alton Ukraine were used. The operation was performed under general anesthesia with mechanical ventilation, the operation time was 150 minutes.
