Janos hill also called Janog Hegy, is a hill within Budapest, which offers a panoramic view of Budapest city. It took nearly an hour to reach the hill from the city center. The hill is surrounded by a lush green environment with the summer almost to its end. The Elizabeth lookout tower, named after the Hungarian princess, is officially the highest point of Budapest. It is quite easy to reach the top of the hill, all thanks to the Zupliget chairlift, which takes you between the huge trees and first and offers an amazing view from the height. I absolutely recommend the chairlift on the way up. The chairlift is slow and this allows you to enjoy the trip and while at the top, don't forget to smile at the camera. Later in the afternoon, I went to the Normafa park close which is a popular weekend picnic spot for the Hungarians. There are direct buses connecting the park to the city center. As the autumn is on its edge, the colors of the leaves have started to change and in a couple of weeks, it will be a perfect autumn ground for winter holiday pictures.
