Welcome to The Crystal Tale, a handmade jewelry studio based in Canada. This video shows the process of making a silver jewelry piece by hand. The silver sheet is marked with some allowance, cut into shape, and refined using files and a handpiece. Petal veins are engraved inside the petal shapes to add texture and detail. The bezel and backplate are flattened, then the bezel is soldered onto the silver sheet. Twisted silver wire is soldered around the bezel, and the piece is cleaned in a pickle. In the final step, small petal elements are soldered onto the silver sheet to complete the design.
