Glassboro Summit Oral History - Kent Johnson

Mr. Kent Johnson shares his experiences taking photographs at the Glassboro Summit. Mr. Johnson recalls how interesting it was to watch the campus become transformed during the Summit. This oral history was recorded by Rowan University staff during an event celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Glassboro Summit. Though this video was not created by the Rowan University Libraries it is being shared as part of the Glassboro Summit Collection. The Glassboro Summit Collection was developed by the Rowan University Libraries Digital Scholarship Center to provide students, historians, and community members online access to primary and secondary resources related to the Glassboro Summit. The collection also includes material about Glassboro State College (now Rowan University), the Hollybush mansion, and Glassboro local history. The project centralizes and digitally preserves this material for easy access. The collection is intended as an educational resource to inspire new scholarship, learning, and curriculum about the Cold War, diplomacy, the Glassboro Summit and how the summit impacted the local community and international politics.
